Privacy Policy

Summary: Disaster Alert does not require an account or precise-location access. Saved areas stay on your device. Google services provide notifications, privacy choices, and advertising.

Information you provide

You may select broad regions to watch and enable notifications. These choices are stored locally on your Android device. The app does not require your name, email address, contacts, precise location, payment information, photos, or files.

Push notifications

When notifications are enabled, the app subscribes its Firebase installation to broad area-code topics, such as California or New Zealand. Firebase Cloud Messaging may process a Firebase installation identifier, app version, device metadata, and topic subscriptions to deliver messages. Disaster Alert does not store your FCM token in Supabase and does not use Firebase Analytics. You can disable notifications in the app or Android settings.

Advertising and consent

The app uses Google Mobile Ads to display banner and occasional interstitial ads. Google Mobile Ads may automatically collect and share an IP address (which may indicate approximate location), app interactions, diagnostic information, Android advertising ID, app set ID, and related device or account identifiers for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention.

Google User Messaging Platform requests and records privacy choices where required. The app requests ads only after that platform reports that ads may be requested. When required, the app's Settings screen provides an Ad privacy choices entry point. You can also reset or delete the advertising ID and manage ad privacy through Android settings.

Hazard feed and network requests

The app retrieves a read-only hazard feed from Supabase. Like most internet services, Supabase may process technical request data such as IP address, request time, and diagnostic metadata for delivery, reliability, and abuse prevention. Disaster Alert does not use Supabase to build advertising or analytics profiles.

Official sources and external links

Hazard information may originate from USGS, NASA EONET, and GeoNet. Opening an original-source link leaves the app and is governed by that publisher's privacy policy. Always verify safety information with local authorities and emergency services.

Retention and sharing

Saved areas and preferences remain on your device until you change them, clear app data, or uninstall the app. Google retains messaging, consent, and advertising data according to its own service and retention practices. We do not sell personal data.

Children

Disaster Alert is a general-audience informational utility and is not directed to children. Target-audience and advertising settings are managed according to the declarations submitted in Google Play and AdMob.

Your choices

• Remove saved areas or disable notifications in the app.
• Use Ad privacy choices in Settings when the option is required and available.
• Manage advertising privacy controls in Android settings.
• Delete local app data through Android system settings or uninstall the app.

The app does not request background or precise-location permission.
