Privacy Policy — Move To IOS Guide

Last updated: August 31, 2026

Move To IOS Guide ("the App") is an independent educational guide for people moving from Android to iPhone. The App explains preparation, setup, supported content, troubleshooting, and manual alternatives. The App does not perform a phone-to-phone transfer or operate a backend service.

1. Information the App handles

The guide content is included in the App and is available offline. The App does not require an account, sign-in, or registration.

The App does not request access to contacts, SMS, call logs, photos, videos, files, microphone, camera, location, or other sensitive device permissions. The App does not read, upload, or store the content that a user may transfer by following the separate Move to iOS setup process.

The checklist and current guide position may be retained locally by Android's saved-state mechanism so the interface can continue after a configuration change. This information is not sent to us and is not stored in our server because we do not operate one for this App.

2. Advertising and Google Mobile Ads

The App uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK to display an inline banner and an interstitial advertisement. Google and its advertising partners may process information such as device or advertising identifiers, IP address, approximate location derived from network information, app and ad interactions, and diagnostic information to deliver, measure, and protect advertising services. The information and processing can vary based on your device settings, region, and any consent choices available to you.

Google processes information under its own privacy policy and terms. For more information, please review Google's Privacy Policy:

https://policies.google.com/privacy

You can also review Google's explanation of how it uses information from sites and apps that use its services:

3. Network access

The App requests internet and network-state access only so the advertising SDK can request and display ads and determine whether network connectivity is available. The App has no developer-operated account system, cloud database, analytics backend, or server-side guide-content service.

4. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell or share guide content, checklist content, or user files. Information processed by Google Mobile Ads is handled by Google and its partners as described in Google's policies and according to applicable settings and consent requirements.

5. Retention and deletion

We do not maintain a developer-operated server record for this App. Uninstalling the App removes its local application data according to Android's normal behavior. You can also clear the App's data through Android settings. Google may retain advertising-related information according to its own policies.

6. Children's privacy

The App is a general educational utility and is not directed specifically at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Third-party services and names

The App may refer to Apple, iPhone, and Move to iOS for explanatory purposes. Move To IOS Guide is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Apple Inc. Third-party apps, websites, and services have their own terms and privacy policies.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the App or its data practices change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.

9. Contact

For privacy questions, please use the developer contact method provided with the Google Play listing or the distribution channel where you obtained the App.
