Project Kanban Task Board Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Project Kanban Task Board (the "App"), package com.kanban.taskboard, handles information.

1. Local project data

The App is designed to keep your project data on your Android device. It stores the information you create for boards, custom columns, task cards, checklists, due dates, priorities, tags, notes, progress, archive entries, preferences, and locally generated backup files. This information is used only to provide the App's board and task features.

2. No account, backend, or automatic upload

The App does not require an account and does not operate a backend, remote database, cloud synchronization service, or user-content upload service. The App does not automatically send your boards, tasks, notes, or exported files to us.

When you explicitly export or share a board, Android and the service you select may process the file. That action is initiated by you and is governed by the recipient service's own terms and privacy policy.

3. Advertising and Google Mobile Ads

The App may display Banner and Interstitial ads through Google Mobile Ads. The advertising SDK and its partners may process or share advertising-related information such as IP address, approximate location, app interactions, diagnostics, and advertising or app/device identifiers for advertising, analytics, fraud prevention, security, and compliance. Ads and consent handling follow Google's policies and your available consent choices.

Core board features remain available when an ad cannot load.

4. Network access

The core board features are designed to work offline. Network access is used for advertising, consent/privacy flows, and platform services required by the advertising SDK. The App does not use network access to synchronize your project content.

5. Data deletion

You can delete app-owned local data from the App's Settings. Uninstalling the App also removes its app-owned local storage according to Android's normal uninstall behavior. Files that you explicitly exported or shared are outside the App's control and must be deleted from the destination where you saved or shared them.

6. Children's privacy

The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the App.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the App or applicable requirements change. The latest version will be published on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
